The tragic unfolding of the Russian war against Ukraine is not just felt by our Ukrainian friends, but by all of us worldwide. The Pallinghurst Group is closely monitoring the situation and stands alongside all those who are severely affected by this war.
In order to contribute to the humanitarian efforts to bring medical aid and support to the Ukrainian people, Pallinghurst has made donations to the following organisations:
UNICEF has launched its Emergency Ukraine Fund to provide medical aid, food, and psychological support to children that have been affected by the ongoing conflict with Russia. As the refugee crisis deepens, many families have been displaced and children separated from their families. Homes and schools are being destroyed, and more than 3 million people have already fled Ukraine.
Sunflower of Peace provides medical and humanitarian aid, including first aid tactical backpacks, which will be used by paramedics and doctors on the front lines in Ukraine. It also ensures medical assistance reaches those displaced by war, including children.
Support Hospitals in Ukraine is raising funds to get vital medical supplies and equipment delivered to hospitals across the country. They achieve this in a sustainable, transparent and cost-effective manner by partnering with one of the largest US medical surplus recovery non-profit organisations, Project C.U.R.E., as well as numerous NGOs in the United States and Ukraine.
The Jewish Campus Berlin has launched a fund to support the 450 refugees who have been rescued from orphanages and care homes throughout Ukraine, and are now under the care of Chabad Berlin. What started with 108 orphan refugees has quickly grown and donations are needed to support the incoming refugees with meals, accommodation, health insurance and education.
We hope for a swift and peaceful resolution of this conflict.
